BrandPulse ("we", "our", or "us") is a Shopify application developed by InfiniteRoles. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you install and use BrandPulse.
1. Information We Collect
When you install BrandPulse, we access the following data from your Shopify store through the Shopify API:
- Products: product titles, descriptions, prices, and metadata — used to generate SEO recommendations.
- Orders: aggregated order volume, revenue, and average order value — used to generate performance metrics and trends. We do not store customer names, emails, phone numbers, or addresses.
- Store information: shop domain and currency — used to identify your store and display data correctly.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To generate AI-powered store summaries, growth plans, and SEO recommendations.
- To display aggregated performance metrics in your BrandPulse dashboard.
- To send optional weekly report emails if you enable that feature.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. OpenAI Integration
BrandPulse uses the OpenAI API to process store data and generate AI insights. Data sent to OpenAI consists of aggregated, non-personally-identifiable store metrics. We do not send customer names, emails, or contact information to OpenAI. OpenAI's use of data is governed by their Privacy Policy.
4. Data Retention
- Aggregated metrics and AI-generated insights are retained while your app is installed.
- When you uninstall BrandPulse, all data associated with your store is permanently deleted from our systems within 48 hours.
- You can request immediate data deletion by emailing support@infiniteroles.com.
5. Data Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. Data at rest is stored in a private PostgreSQL database hosted on a dedicated server. We apply standard security practices including access controls and regular backups.
6. GDPR Compliance
BrandPulse complies with Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks:
- Customer data requests: we respond to requests for any customer data we hold.
- Customer data erasure: we delete customer data upon request.
- Shop data erasure: we delete all shop data when the app is uninstalled.

7. Cookies
BrandPulse is an embedded Shopify app and does not use cookies independently. Shopify may set cookies as part of the admin authentication flow.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify merchants of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of BrandPulse after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
